4:16. ఉత్తర పవనమా లే! దక్షిణ పవనమా రా! నా ఉద్యానవనంపై వీచి, దాని మధుర సౌరభాన్ని వెద జల్లండి. నా ప్రియుడు తన ఉద్యానవనానికి రావాలి అందలి మధుర ఫలాలు ఆరగించాలి.

4:16. ఉత్తరవాయువూ, ఏతెంచుము దక్షిణవాయువూ, వేంచేయుము నా ఉద్యానవనముమీద విసరుడి దాని పరిమళములు వ్యాపింపజేయుడి నా ప్రియుడు తన ఉద్యానవనమునకు వేంచేయును గాక తనకిష్టమైన ఫలముల నతడు భుజించునుగాక.

4:16. Awake, O north wind; come, O south wind! Blow on my garden so that its fragrant spices may send out their sweet smell. May my beloved come into his garden and eat its delightful fruit!
